There is no such thing as too early or too late to learn piano!
With her beloved upright, a handful of percussive instruments, too many stickers, (and even a few star jumps!), Dayna provides adaptable lessons free of stress and full of fun. She is here to nurture and award all musical curiosity and effort in whatever shape that takes for you or your child.
From AMEB curriculum to the immersive works of Nobuo Uematsu—even whole-tone scales and overtones!—there are no music boundaries in Dayna’s studio. Her students are encouraged to explore genres and theory, to ask questions, and to venture into the musical unknown.
(Please note: There are no exams in this studio...but there are still scales.)

Why Music?
We are all born with a biological predisposition and innate ability to respond to music. It is a cultural universal and a vital component of a healthy brain. Regular instrumental practice and general music engagement is associated with enhanced executive functioning, working memory, and non-verbal reasoning.
And that’s just for starters!
Dayna started learning piano at age five on her Pa’s organ and grew up performing in various groups, with multiple instruments, while receiving AMEB distinctions assessed by the acclaimed Australian pianist, Glen Carter-Varney. At age sixteen, she accepted early enrolment at the Queensland Conservatorium where she excelled at Sound Design and Composing for Screen and Games.
Dayna has now taught piano for over a decade at popular studios including Music Beat and, most recently, Brisbane Music Studio where she tutored forty dedicated students!
She is thrilled to now offer private lessons in the comfort of own home studio as she continues to find great joy in nurturing creative curiosity.
When not teaching, Dayna takes her creativity to other heights working with Netflix Distributed and Raindance Premiered Documentaries, Bestselling Authors, and many others.
